The Embassy of Japan organized “Anime Special” in Rotterdam, two days of screening of several Japanese animation films, in cooperation with the Japan Foundation and Camera Japan. Before and after the screening of “Komaneko” at Shofukan on June 14, children enjoyed creating their own necklaces with a paper cat and/or any other creatures like “Pikachu” at the origami workshop. “Kakurenbo”, “New SOS Tokyo Expedition”, “Negadon: The Monster from Mars” and “Planzet” were also screened at Shofukan. On June 17, a classic anime, “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman” was screened at the LantarenVenster.
