On 24 April, a spring opening ceremony was held at the Japanese Garden at the Clingendael estate. Ambassador Tsuji, Mayor of Wassenaar Mr. Hoekema and Member of Parliament Mrs Tellegen made speeches and in the company of their guests they took a stroll in pleasant sunlight through the Japanese Garden, enjoying the sight of brightly coloured trees.
The Garden will be open to the public from 9 to 20 hours on 26 April to 9 June.
