On 25 November 2014, the Conferment Ceremony of The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette upon Prof. Matthi Forrer, researcher of the National Museum of Ethnology, was held at the Residence of Ambassador Tsuji.
At the ceremony, Ambassador Tsuji delivered a congratulatory address and conferred the decoration upon Prof. Forrer after presenting the Patent of Decoration.

Approximately 60 guests attended among whom very close friends and persons involved with Japanese-Dutch culture, and they celebrated Prof. Forrer's conferment in a friendly atmosphere.
