The Women’s National Hockey Team of Japan were in the Netherlands to participate in the “Rabobank Hockey World League Semi-Final 2013”.  On this occasion they were invited to lunch at the official residence of Ambassador Nagamine On 21 June.  The next day, the team claimed victory over Belgium (3-1) and finished fifth in the Dutch tournament.  We wish them every success and hope to welcome them back to the  World Cup next year, which will be hosted in The Hague.

The results of the Japanese national team in the Dutch tournament are as follows:
13 June, the Netherlands vs. Japan: 1-1
14 June, Japan vs. Chile: 6-0
16 June, Japan vs. South Korea: 3-4
18 June, New Zealand vs. Japan: 3-1
22 June, Japan vs. Belgium: 3-1
