On 5 March, an opening ceremony for the ‘Silk Splendour’ kimono exhibition was held at the SieboldHuis in Leiden. After curator Linda Hanssen had explained about the kimonos and Ambassador Tsuji had made a speech, the audience could enjoy the exquisite kimonos from the Itchiku Kubota Museum.
