On Wednesday, 9 October, staff members of the Cultural Section of the Embassy of Japan participated in the “Study Fair” organized by the Hogeschool Amsterdam. They explained about scholarship programmes offered by the Japanese government (MEXT) and the JET programme, while also providing more general information on Japan and Japanese culture.

Mr. Alfons Vergouw (former JET participant) and Ms. Aafke van Ewijk (former MEXT programme participant) were also present to talk about their own experience with their respective programmes.

About 500 students of the Hogeschool Amsterdam attended the study fair.
