The Embassy of Japan in the Netherlands presents 'Visit Japan!', where you can find out all there is to know about travelling to Japan by visiting the Dutch Tourism Expo (January 10) and the Vakantiebeurs (January 11-15).

At the Vakantiebeurs 2012 we will present our 'all Japan booth' together with the following Japanese companies: ANA, Japan Airlines, JTB, Kintetsu International, Nippon Express Nederland B.V., the Okura Hotel, Tozai Travel and Yamato Transport Europe B.V.. To experience a little bit of Japan please visit us in Hall 1, booth D098 at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

We will hold several special events during the Vakantiebeurs:

(10/1) We will toast the opening of the Dutch Tourism Expo with sake served from special casks. Feel free to join us! (limited supply: first come, first served)

(12/1 and 13/1) On these days from 16:00-17:00 we will have cocktail hour! Join us for a sake tasting session. We will have various sake on offer, including special Tohoku region sake. (limited supply: first come, first served)

(14/1 and 15/1) From 16:00-17:00 Visit Japan! will offer nothing less but some of the finest sushi, prepared by the chefs at the famous Okura Hotel in Amsterdam! (limited supply: first come, first served)

Special Performance!! Especially for the visitors of the Vakantiebeurs 2012 Visit Japan! presents: 'Tatake! Taiko'! This famous Belgian taiko, or Japanese drum, group will perform both on the 11th and the 12th of January from 11:30 to 12:00. Taiko is an integral part of Japanese culture and has become famous all over the world. Do not miss this unique opportunity to experience taiko for yourself! Location: Vakantiebeurstheater, Hall 2.
