Friday, 6 February, Ambassador Tsuji participated in the opening ceremony of the Canon-Nippon Express warehouse at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Rokus van Iperen, President of Canon Europe, Mr. Yuji Kobuchi, Managing Director of Nippon Express Europe and Mr. Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam as well as a large number of businessmen. Ambassador Masaru Tsuji also gave a congratulatory speech.
The official opening ceremony was brightened up by the festive Japanese ritual of ‘Kagami Biraki’, the traditional opening of a cask of sake.
