On Thursday, January 24th, Ambassador Nagamine paid a call to the mayor of Utrecht, Mr. Wolfsen and talked about the possibility of human, economic and cultural exchanges between Utrecht city and Japan in the future. Mayor Wolfsen mentioned about figures from Utrecht such as the late Mr. Anton Geesink and Mr. Dick Bruna, who are famous in Japan. Mayor Wolfsen also introduced about the science park in Utrecht.
Ambassador Nagamine expressed his wish to cooperate with Utrecht，the fourth largest city in the Netherlands,  as one of the basis for exchanges between the Netherlands and Japan.
