On Friday, February 8th, Ambassador Nagamine paid a visit to the President & CEO KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Mr. Peter Hartman, at the KLM Headquarters. They discussed deepening the economic relationship between Japan and the Netherlands focusing on upcoming new scheduled direct services on April 3rd 2013 between SCHIPHOL Airport and FUKUOKA Airport, the third busiest airport in Japan after HANEDA and NARITA.

*KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will start scheduled services to Fukuoka, Japan. KLM is the first airline to offer direct flights between Fukuoka and Europe. KLM connects in summer 2013 a total of 21 weekly flights from Amsterdam to Japan; 11x Tokyo, 7x Osaka and 3x Fukuoka
