On November 3rd 2014, the Government of Japan announced the recipients of the 2014 Autumn Decorations. Among them, Mr. Akira Ohshima, Director of Amsterdam Branch of the specified non-profit organization “Organization to Promote Japanese Restaurants Abroad” received The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, in recognition of his significant contributions to the diffusion of Japanese cuisine in the Netherlands.
