Japanese Market Open to Dutch Veal |
After a series of consultations between the Governments of Japan and the Netherlands on beef import from the Netherlands to Japan, the two governments have reached a common position with the new scheme to import veal. The new scheme has been reported by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan to its Ministerial Council and been approved for its implementation as of 1st February, 2013. (reference)
