On May 21 a conferment ceremony was held in Willemstad in honour of Mr. Ronald Gomes Casseres, Former Honorary Consul General of Japan to the Netherlands Antilles.

Mr. Gomes Casseres was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon in recognition of his contributions to promote the friendly relationship between Japan and the Netherlands.
