Mr. Gerrit Lodder received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays |

On November 21 a conferment ceremony was held in honour of Mr. Gerrit Lodder, Honorary Chairman of the Dutch Bonsai Association. Mr. Lodder was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays in recognition of his contributions to introduce the Japanese traditional culture of "Bonsai" to the Netherlands.
