Dr. Aäron Pais awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star |

Dr. Pais, Chairman of the Japan Prize Winners Programme, Former Minister for Education and Science and Former Vice President or the European Investment Bank, is being awarded the ‘The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star* in recognition of his contributions to the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and the Netherlands and his efforts towards facilitating academic exchanges through the Japan Prize Winners Programme.
