Ambassador and Mrs. Nagamine visit the Japanese Cultural Center – ‘Shofukan’ |
On 3rd March, Ambassador and Mrs. Nagamine visited the Japanese Cultural Center - Shofukan. Mr. Joris van Nispen, Director of this center was on hand to welcome the guests and gave a brief explanation of the center’s activities. Afterwards, Ambassador and Mrs. Nagamine together with Mr. Nakai Chief Director of Commemorative Organization for the Japan World Exposition who was visiting the Tea House from Japan、 participated in the “Chanoyu” of Ueda ryu urasenke served by master Webzel. The Tea House “Senshinan” was co-funded by the Japan World Exposition Commemorative Fund Grant and built in April 2012.
