Official opening of Camera Japan 2015 (24 September)

On 24 September 2015, the Camera Japan festival was officially opened at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam. After speeches by the founders, Mr Alex Oost, Mr Yasuo Kishibe and Mr Dirk Zschunke, Ambassador Tsuji made a congratulatory speech at this turning point of the festival’s tenth anniversary, highlighting his interest in seeing how Japanese films are received in the Netherlands.
Following the speeches, “MERGE”, a mesmerizing image and sound performance with two Japanese dancers was played.
