Japan and the Netherlands have had a very close economic relationship for a long period of time. The Japanese Government actively promotes inward foreign direct investment (FDI) and has taken numerous policy measures aimed at transforming Japan into the most business-friendly country in the world.
The Japan External Trade Organization, or JETRO, is a Japanese government-related organization that promotes trade and investment. If you are thinking of setting up a business base in Japan, consult the JETRO Amsterdam office first.
