Visit in Japan by MIRAI Program

From December 15th to 22nd 2015, based on the invitation program by the Government of Japan, 150 graduate/undergraduate students from Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus, including 2 students from the Netherlands are visiting Japan.
 
This invitation program, called MIRAI (Mutual-understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative: MIRAI means “future” in Japanese) Program started this year.
 
During the stay, the students visit and meet various renowned people in various fields ranging from high-tech and traditional industries, leading companies, scientific and cultural sites to governmental institutions.
 
They also visit a prestigious university in Tokyo, having lectures on Japanese politics, economy, society, history, culture and/or diplomatic policy from eminent professors followed by discussions with Japanese students.
 
The program includes homestay in towns and cities outside Tokyo.
