A reception to introduce the new Honorary Consul-General in Amsterdam Mr. Jos ter Avest was held on Wednesday 10 May, 2017. Mr. Ter Avest was appointed as Honorary Consul-General of Japan in Amsterdam on 1 February, 2017. We expect his efforts will contribute to enhancing the relationship between Japan and the Netherlands in various fields such as Economy and Culture in the capital city of Amsterdam, which is a center of Dutch commerce and also has many Japanese companies and people.
