Reception to introduce the new Honorary Consul-General in Rotterdam Mr. Willem Briët (November 24, 2017)

On November 24, 2017, a reception to introduce the new Honorary Consul-General in Rotterdam Mr. Willem Briët was held at Ambassador’s residence. Mr. Briët was appointed as Honorary Consul-General of Japan in Rotterdam on October 20 this year by Mr. Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Inomata handed the document of appointment to Mr. Briët at the reception.

We expect his effort will contribute to enhancing the relationship between Japan and the Netherlands in the various fields including business and culture in Rotterdam area, which has the representative trading port of Europe and also has many Japanese companies and people.
