Reception in hounor of Prof. Yuji Iwasawa, Japan's candidate for the election of judge of the ICJ (March 23, 2018)

On March 23, 2018, Ambassador Inomata held a reception at his residence to introduce Professor Yuji Iwasawa from the University of Tokyo. He is a candidate for the election of judge for the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which will take place in New York this June.
Professor Iwasawa addressed the diplomatic representatives and ICJ related participants, referring to his wide range of experiences in the field of international law as an academic as well as a practitioner, and his possible future contributions to the work of the ICJ.
