Japan Festival 2018 in Amstelveen (November 4, 2018)

On November 4, 2018, Japan Festival 2018 was held in Amstelveen.
 
The festival was opened by Mr. Saito, Chairman of the Board of Japan Festival Foundation, Drs. Eenhoorn, Mayor of Amstelveen, and Ambassador Inomata from the Embassy of Japan in the Netherlands, with a Kagamibiraki ceremony.
Throughout the day, there were various Japan-related performances on stage including live jazz performance by Mr. Senri Oe, who is active as a jazz pianist based in New York City, as well as a spectacular show by “Miyabiya” from Japan based on Japanese traditional performing arts. Visitors could also enjoy Japanese food and workshops.
