Conferral of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays upon Mrs. Erica Terpstra

On April 29, 2020, the Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2020 Spring Conferment of Decorations.
Among them, Mrs. Erica Terpstra, presenter and TV personality, former State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport, former chairperson of the NOC*NSF, and Olympic medallist of Tokyo 1964, will receive “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the promotion of Japanese culture in the Netherlands and to the friendship between Japan and the Netherlands.
