A case of infection with COVID-19 at the Embassy of Japan in the Netherlands

1. On March 17th, a case of infection with COVID-19 was confirmed amongst the staff of the Embassy of Japan in the Netherlands.

2. The staff member concerned is currently in self-quarantine at home. We have confirmed that the staff member was not in close contact with any of the other staff members of the Embassy nor any guests of our Embassy.

3. As the Embassy of Japan, we will continue to take the necessary measures to prevent infection as well as the spread of infection so that there will be no hindrance to our activities, including the protection of Japanese nationals.
