Conferral of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays upon Ms. Erica Terpstra (June 9, 2022)

On June 9, 2022, a ceremony was held at the Residence of Japanese Ambassador to confer
“The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” upon Ms. Erica Terpstra, former State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport, former chairperson of the NOC*NSF as well as Olympic medalist of Tokyo 1964.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Horinouchi delivered a congratulatory speech and conferred the decoration upon Ms. Erica Terpstra after presenting the Patent of Decoration.
Close friends, family members and Mayor of The Hague were present to congratulate Ms. Erica Terpstra on her decoration.
