Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays upon Mrs. Jeanette Akane Taudin Chabot（May 11, 2023）

On May 11, 2023, a conferment ceremony was held at the Residence of Japanese Ambassador to confer “the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays” upon Mrs. Jeanette Akane Taudin Chabot. As an interpreter for almost 40 years, she has made a significant contribution to promote the mutual understanding and cultural exchange between Japan and the Netherlands.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Minami delivered a congratulatory speech and conferred the order upon Mrs. Chabot after presenting the Patent of Decoration. Family members and close friends were present to congratulate Mrs. Chabot on her conferment.
