The Japan Self-Defence Forces Day Reception (June 27, 2023)

On 27 June 2023, Ambassador Mr. MINAMI Hiroshi hosted the reception to celebrate the Japan Self-Defence Forces Day at the Ambassador’s residence. The reception was attended by around 100 guests, including officials from the Dutch Government, Defence Organisation, and International Organisations, among others.
In his speech, Ambassador MINAMI referred the G7 HIROSHIMA Summit held in May this year, which was also attended by President Zelensky of Ukraine, and presented Japan's support for Ukraine. He also explained the progress of high-level defence exchange and cooperation between Japan and the Netherlands which he highly appreciated.
