Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon upon Mr. Ahmed Aboutaleb（September 9, 2024）

On September 2024, a conferment ceremony was held at the Residence of the Japanese Ambassador to confer “the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon” upon Mr. Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam.
He has made a significant contribution to the promotion of economic and municipal exchange as well as mutual understanding between Japan and the Netherlands.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Minami delivered a congratulatory speech and conferred the order after presenting the Patent of Decoration. Family members and close friends were present to congratulate Mr. Aboutaleb on his conferment.
